Wine Shapers – International Young Talents Summit

Wine Shapers is not just a conference, but an invitation to be part of a global community that believes in the power of wine to bring together unite generations, territories and cultures.

On 5, 6 and 7 March 2026, Vitoria-Gasteiz and Rioja Alavesa are set to become the global hub for young talent in the wine industry. Winemakers under the age of 40, from different corners of the globe, will share their vision, challenges and dreams for a future in which wine remains far more than a drink: it is a universal language, a driver of innovation and an essential link within the gastronomic ecosystem.

Each day will be a unique experience: a space to gain inspiration through new ideas, learn from those who are leading the way, put knowledge into practice and experience wine in direct connection with the territory. Wine Shapers was set up to promote creativity, dialogue and collaboration, convinced that the future of wine is built by everyone, regardless of their place of origin.

For now, we have opened registration for the sessions on Thursday, March 5, and Friday, March 6. The first one will take place in Vitoria-Gasteiz, while the second one will focus on various wine routes through Rioja Alavesa. On the first day, we will have talks and round tables featuring participants from all over the world, from places where wine is an essential part of their identity. On the second day, we will take different routes through the region, where several young people will act as hosts and hostesses. Because wine is identity, roots, and ultimately, more than just a way of life.

Wine Shapers biltzar bat baino gehiago da: ardoari esker belaunaldiak, lurraldeak eta kulturak elkartu daitezkeela sinesten duen komunitate global baten parte izateko gonbita da.

2026ko martxoaren 5ean, 6an eta 7an, Gasteiz eta Arabako Errioxa ardoaren inguruko talentu gaztearen ardatza izango dira mundu mailan. Munduko hainbat tokitako 40 urtetik beherako ardogileek etorkizunerako dituzten ikuspegi, erronka eta ametsen berri emango digute, ardoak edari bat baino gehiago izaten jarraitzea baita haien helburua: hizkuntza unibertsal, berrikuntzarako motor eta ekosistema gastronomikoko ezinbesteko lotura gisa ikusi nahi dute ardoa.

Parekorik gabeko esperientzia bat izango da jardunaldi bakoitza: ideia berriekin inspiratzeko, bidea egiten ari direnengandik ikasteko, ezagutzak praktikan jartzeko eta ardoa lurraldearekiko lotura zuzenean bizitzeko gune bat. Durante los días 5, 6 y 7 de marzo de 2026 Vitoria-Gasteiz y Rioja Alavesa se transformarán en el eje mundial del talento joven del vino. Elaboradores y elaboradoras menores de 40 años, procedentes de diferentes rincones del planeta, compartirán su visión, sus retos y sus sueños para un futuro en el que el vino siga siendo mucho más que una bebida: un lenguaje universal, un motor de innovación y un vínculo esencial dentro del ecosistema gastronómico.

Cada jornada será una experiencia única: un espacio para inspirarse con nuevas ideas, aprender de quienes están marcando el camino, poner en práctica conocimientos y vivir el vino en conexión directa con el territorio. Wine Shapers nace para impulsar la creatividad, el diálogo y la colaboración, convencidos y convencidas de que el futuro del vino se construye entre todos y todas, sin importar el lugar de origen.

Por ahora hemos abierto las inscripciones para las jornadas del jueves, 5 de marzo, y el viernes, día 6. La primera se celebrará en Vitoria-Gasteiz mientras que la segunda estará centrada en diferentes rutas enológicas por Rioja Alavesa. Durante el primer día contaremos con ponencias y mesas redondas con participantes procedentes de todos aquellos lugares del mundo en los que el vino forma parte de su esencia. En el segundo, por su parte, realizaremos diferentes rutas por el territorio en los que diferentes jóvenes ejercerán de anfitriones y anfitrionas. Porque el vino es identidad, arraigo y, en definitiva, más que una forma de vida.

Además, el viernes 6 realizaremos la cena y fiesta de cierre de Wine Shapers, la ocasión perfecta para compartir todo lo aprendido durante las dos jornadas. La cena comenzará a las 20:00h en la ID-arte Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño Pública de Euskadi (C/ Portal de Betoño, 23). ¡No te lo pierdas!
